Serenity Sunday...week 52

"The trees are coming into leaf

Like something almost being said;

The recent buds relax and spread,

Their greenness is a kind of grief.

Is it that they are born again

And we grow old? No, they die too,

Their yearly trick of looking new

Is written down in rings of grain.

Yet still the unresting castles thresh

In fullgrown thickness every May.

Last year is dead, they seem to say,

Begin afresh, afresh, afresh."

- Philip Larkin, The Trees
**Somehow, in the craziness, I forgot to post, even Serenity Sunday, last week! What's up with that? Ever have those days when you are busy as a bee, but can't see much accomplishment? I'm having that kind of month. Like Grandma used to say, "the further I go, the behinder I get". My gardens are growing like crazy this year and I'm working on expanding a bit. I'm getting there, slowly but surely...** Peace, Tami

  1. Ah - serenity. Does it really exist!?!? Please tell me it does. I'm so stressed out right now I have a hard time believing it! LOL! Thank you for your comment on my inspiration blog! I think you're right! I probably could do that with stuff I've got hanging around the house and in the garage! :) I can't wait to go home and work on this tonight and tomorrow when I'm off work. I am definitely posting it on color outside the lines - and giving you credit! :)
