Serenity Sunday...week 63

~ The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain. ~

Dolly Parton

**It's been raining like cats and dogs here since last night. I'm certain we're over 3 inches by now. Today just started strange. Between last night hearing thunder hours before the rain started...waking up this morning to a PC that wouldn't boot up to watching sheets of rain all afternoon....I've just about had enough. ;-) I finally got my PC started, somehow...all the stuff I knew to do...didn't seem to work at first. Not quite sure how all ended up ending well, but the stars must have lined up for me cause it works and hopefully, I'll be able to do a couple of posts this week. **

Serenity Sunday...week 62

(Image from squidoo.com)

Rain usually makes me feel mellow: curl up in a corner time, slow down, smell the furniture. Today... it just makes me feel wet. What is it about owning things? Why do we feel the need to own what we love, and why do we become such jerks when we do? We've all been there, you know: we want something; we own it; and by owning it we change it. When you finally win that girl of your dreams, the first thing you do is try to change her. That little thing she does with her hair, the way she wears her clothes, the way she chews her gum. Until eventually, what you like, what you don't like and what you change all merges into one.
Like a watercolor in the rain.
