This morning at about "11ish" the Jamesville annual Memorial Day Parade commenced. They line up on my street and parade up to the center of town, where the ceremony takes place at the War Memorial monument. Fire departments from all over central NY, Scouting Units, kids ball teams, Military Units, politicians, various clubs and organizations participate. There is also a couple of school bands and a Bagpipe Band from Syracuse to keep the parade in pace.
Here are a few pictures of my small-town parade. Isn't this what America is all about? Enjoy!
